Privacy policy
Consignor Statement is a Shopify app made by SVE Ventures Ltd. Last updated 5 October 2026.
The short version
The app reads your orders and products to work out what each consignor is owed. It never asks Shopify for your customers' names, emails, phone numbers or addresses, and it does not store them. It cannot change anything in your store.
What we store, and why

Consignors
A consignor's name may be a person's name. You decide what to enter; we hold it for you and use it only to produce your statements. Removing a consignor stops new statements for them; their name stays on the statements already issued until your store's data is erased. If a consignor wants their name erased sooner, contact us.
What we read but do not keep
Orders that are not on a statement you created, your store's currency and time zone, and your list of vendors.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys or receives your data. It is held with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon), in the United Kingdom and European Union where we can choose, solely to run the app.
Your rights
Uninstalling removes our access at once. All data for your store is erased when Shopify sends its erasure request, 48 hours later; we keep only a log, by shop address, that the request was received and carried out. Requests from your customers under privacy law reach us through Shopify; because we hold no customer data there is nothing to return or erase.
Data processing terms
These terms apply between you (the merchant) and SVE Ventures Ltd when you install the app, and form part of our agreement with you.
- You decide what the app processes and why; we process it only on your instructions, to provide the app.
- We do not sell personal data or use it for our own marketing, profiling or advertising.
- Access is limited to the people who operate the app, who are bound to keep it confidential.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest; Shopify access tokens are additionally encrypted by the app.
- Our sub-processors are Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and Sentry (error reports, with personal data removed).
- We help you answer requests from individuals about their data, and delete your data as described above.
- If we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will tell you without undue delay.
