Consignor Statement help

Answers to the questions shop owners ask most.

How does it know which sales belong to a consignor?

By the vendor on the product, or by a product tag you choose. Set this once on the Consignors page. A vendor or tag can belong to one consignor only.

What is the share worked out on?

The price the customer paid for the item after discounts. In Settings you choose whether tax is left out before the split.

What happens when an order is refunded?

An item refund is deducted in the refund's month from the consignor credited for that sale on a statement. Refunds of sales never credited on a statement, and refunds without usable item details, are reported for you to check instead of being allocated automatically. Check warnings before relying on the figure. Cancelled orders are handled as reversals where the sale can be identified.

Why is an order missing?

Orders that have not been paid are not counted. Items whose vendor or tag does not match a consignor are left out, and the home screen tells you how many.

Why can I only see this month and last month?

Shopify gives apps the last 60 days of orders by default. Two whole months is what can be added up completely.

It says an item belongs to two consignors.

A vendor rule and a tag rule both match that product. Statements are held back so nobody is paid twice. Change or remove one of the rules on the Consignors page.

Can I change a statement?

Creating statements again replaces unpaid ones with up-to-date figures. A statement you have marked as paid is never changed; mark it as unpaid first if you need to.

Does the app pay my consignors?

No. It tells you what is owed and gives you a statement to send. You pay however you already do, then record it.

How do I get a PDF?

Open a statement, choose Print, and pick "Save as PDF" in your browser's print window.
